SCL is growing…

We are happy to announce that we have received the allotment letter for the land from the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd., the government agency vested to provide the industrial infrastructure through the development of industrial areas in the state of Telangana. We would be completing the government approvals and other formalities shortly so that we can start the construction of our new plant on this land.

The allotted land is in Hyderabad, the gateway to India and a city that is a hub of Indian aerospace and defence manufacturing, the largest supplier of pharmaceuticals and vaccines, and home to the world’s top technology MNCs and India’s premier research labs and universities. Hyderabad is close to other South Indian cities which are India’s electronics and automotive manufacturing centres. Our new address is very near to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and makes it easier to access our international logistics partners. Since it is part of a government electronic park, other infrastructure such as dedicated roads, water, and data connectivity as well as a dedicated 33kV electrical substation are well in place and are supported by the Government of Telangana on priority.

In this allotted plot of 6.84 acres, we are planning to build our new, state-of-the-art PCB manufacturing plant in two different buildings. The first building would have a carpet area of 60,000 Sq. Ft. and is expected to be operational by January 2022. This would have increased capacities to produce quick-turn and multi-layer PCBs up to 40 layers and 2 mil line and space capabilities in Phase I. The turn-around time for the quick-turn PCBs is envisaged to be as fast as 24 hours. This would be augmented with manufacturing capacities for flexible PCBs and flex-rigid PCBs in Phase II and would be able to produce double-sided and multi-layer up to 8 layers. Phase III would see the addition of an Electronic Manufacturing Services facility which would be followed by the addition of an exclusive production line for high-reliability PCBs for medical, aerospace, and defence industries.
The second building would be operational by January 2023 and is intended for high-volume manufacturing of high-tech PCBs. This can also be utilised for our proposed partners of joint ventures and exclusive PCB manufacturing.
This new facility would be of Platinum Grade as per Indian Green Building Council – it would be energy-efficient, water-efficient, environment friendly, and would ensure more productivity by taking care of the health, happiness, well-being, and safety of all our employees.

In a matter of months, we all look forward to welcoming you to this new, modern facility which would be an extension of our 33-year-old legacy and the trust all our valued customers have bestowed us.
